Matthew Leggett
Matthew's career spans more than two decades supporting UHNW individuals, families and family offices across the UK and internationally. After serving 10 years in the military, he progressed into high-level security and close protection, developing a reputation for discretion, calm leadership and sound judgement in some of the world's most demanding environments.
Over the years, his role evolved beyond security into the wider management of private households, estates and family office operations. From overseeing complex multi-residence portfolios and trusted household teams to managing travel, logistics and day-to-day family affairs, Matthew has built a career centred on protecting his clients' time, interests and peace of mind whilst ensuring every aspect of family life runs seamlessly.
Having worked extensively within private households and family offices, he understands that true support goes far beyond administration. It requires trust, foresight and the ability to quietly solve problems before they become distractions. This operational mindset has enabled him to support some of the world's most prominent families across multiple residences, jurisdictions and lifestyles.
Today, Matthew brings that same experience to Optir, combining practical expertise, trusted relationships and a highly personalised approach to deliver discreet Lifestyle Family Office support. His focus remains unchanged: simplifying complexity, protecting valuable time and allowing clients to focus on what matters most — their families, businesses and personal priorities.

With over 20 years of experience supporting UHNW individuals, families and family offices, Sophie has built a career founded on trust, discretion and exceptional operational expertise.
Having studied Law at University College London (UCL), including a period of study in Paris focusing on Business Law, Sophie combines a strong academic foundation with extensive practical experience supporting some of the most demanding private clients and households. Raised within both British and French cultures, she brings an international perspective alongside a deep understanding of the complexities of modern family life.
Beginning her career as a Private PA, Sophie progressed into increasingly senior roles, ultimately serving as Chief of Staff to an international principal. In this position, she oversaw a broad range of personal, household and operational matters, coordinating multiple properties, managing teams of staff and ensuring the seamless delivery of day-to-day support across a complex and fast-moving environment. Such roles demand not only exceptional organisational ability, but also absolute discretion, sound judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Throughout her career, Sophie has developed a reputation for creating structure, continuity and reassurance in situations where attention to detail is paramount. Her natural ability to anticipate needs, solve problems and manage competing priorities allows clients to focus their time and energy where it matters most.
As Co-Founder of Optir, Sophie works closely with clients to provide trusted support across all aspects of family life. Whether overseeing household operations, managing projects, coordinating international travel or supporting wider family office requirements, her approach remains thoughtful, discreet and highly personalised.
Known for her calm and measured nature, Sophie brings a level of professionalism, care and attention to detail that has earned the trust of the individuals and families she supports. Her commitment to delivering exceptional service continues to shape the standard upon which Optir is built.
